Spring, Bicycles and Motor Vehicles

The weather has finally turned and there are thousands of riders on the roads every day.   If you see hazards on the road that did not exist the last time your were on your favorite route, do the next rider a favor and report the hazard to the streets department responsible for the roadway.   This will do two things.   First you make make it safer for everyone else.   Second you will have given the city notice of a hazardous condition that it may be responsible for if the city does not act responsibly and fix the dangerous condition.

St. Louis is not a particularly bicycle friendly town.  Oftentimes I feel that a driver didn't see me because of distraction or the driver just doesn't care to share the road.    There is not much you can do to protect yourself except to be defensive out there.

If you are changing lanes or turning, make sure you make eye contact with the folks on the road who may be in harm's way.

We handle and have handled many bicycle crash claims.  If we can be of assistance to you, please don't hesitate in calling.   Even if you are partly at fault in causing the wreck, oftentimes we can get you a recovery by using comparative fault which means your fault is compared with the other driver.

We've been doing this for a long time.  Look at our Google business reviews to see how other clients have been happy with our services.   Give us a call.  We're happy to help.
